We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Batching & Compounder to join our team. Overseeing the process of preparing and mixing chemical ingredients to create batches of products, ensuring they meet specific quality and safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including supervising staff involved with the process.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and prepare raw materials for production according to established formulas and specifications.
- Operate machinery and equipment in compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
- Conduct laboratory tests to ensure product quality and consistency throughout the compounding process.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
- Handle materials safely, including proper storage, organization, and inventory management within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts for materials handling as needed, ensuring safe transport of materials throughout the facility.
- Package finished products according to company standards, ensuring accuracy in labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Proficient in fabrication techniques relevant to compound formulation.
- Strong understanding of CGMP regulations and their application in manufacturing settings.
- Experience with machining processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and quality control measures.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Competent in materials handling, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Forklift certification preferred but not required; training may be provided.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Bi-lingual English-Spanish a Plus
